Thanks to recent changes in regulations, theory components of obtaining a CDL A or B, as well as endorsements, can now be completed online and across the United States. CDL Funding For Veterans

We’re proud to be a CDL training provider for the brave veterans who protect this great nation. Our comprehensive, hands-on program can be funded fully or in part through G.I. Bill educational benefits. Chapters 30, 31, 33, 35, and 1606 of the bill provide financial assistance for qualifying veterans (and dependents) to cover the expenses associated with CDL classes. The skills and discipline they’ve honed during their service make military men and women exceptional candidates for a career in commercial driving.

Facility Description

Classroom training will held at 9430 State Road, Philadelphia PA 19114. This is a large classroom where students will be completing the first portion of their program. Students will have access to computers at this facility, as well as video training and lectures.

Practical training will be held at 8501 Hegerman St. Philadelphia, PA 19136. This is an open facility, 10 acres of lot available for driver training range.  The distance from the classroom and the driving range is 1.9 miles. ​

  • Total Duration: Our program spans 170 total hours, including classroom study and preparation for the Learner’s permit.

  • Hands-On Learning: Gain practical experience with 120 hours of driving lessons, covering everything from driving range practice to navigating streets and highways.
  • Curriculum: Understand the trucking industry’s importance, regulations, and procedures. Learn about vehicle controls, systems, and safety protocols.
  • Skills Development: Master vital skills such as recognizing malfunctions, managing speed in various conditions, and handling emergency situations.
  • Endorsements: Dive into specialized areas like railroad crossings, cargo handling, and trip planning. Hone your skills in pre-trip inspections, braking, parking, and more.
  • Convenience: Our program is designed to accommodate your schedule. Classes start every first Monday of the month.
  • Certification: Upon successful completion of our program, you’ll receive a diploma.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Global CDL is approved by the Pennsylvania Department of Education and Pennsylvania Department of Transportation. We are also an FMCSA Training Provider, offering Entry Level Driver Training (ELDT) and keeping records up to date as required for applicants entering the program after February 7th, 2022.

Our program places a strong emphasis on practical skills, ensuring you’re well-prepared for real-world scenarios. You’ll become proficient in a variety of critical skills, such as parallel parking, straight-line backing, offset backing, alley-dock backing, unhooking and hooking combination vehicles, tandem slide for weight distribution, shifting techniques for uphill and downhill maneuvering, and navigating streets, highways, and railroad crossings.
