Qualifications

Entrance Qualifications

  • Be at least 18 years old.
  • Have a valid driver’s license from your state of residence.
  • Pass a current department of transportation (DOT) physical, within 15 days prior to the start of class.
  • Complete a criminal background check/motor vehicle record check, within 15 days prior to the start of class.
  • We do not accept students that have been charged with a DUI within the past 10 years; if DUI was acquired less than 10 years ago, a pre-hire letter is required from a prospective employer.
  • Prior to the practical training portion of the program, the student must have a valid Commercial Class-A Learner’s Permit from the DMV.
