How to Clean your Truck
Global CDL has the tips you need for this year’s Spring Cleaning
Now, I know what you are thinking. “Spring Cleaning is just for the house, it doesn’t apply to my truck.” Well, guess what it does and this Spring, Global CDL is going to make sure your truck is as clean as it can be for the coming year. Keep your semi truck interior pristine with these tips:
- Let’s start with interior cleaning. Between your driving seat and your sleeping area, you spend a lot of time in your truck. Keeping it clean will improve your mood, so start small and work your way around. Use an automotive interior soap for the best value, as it is easy on paint and different surfaces. Make sure to clean the trash out of your rig as much as possible to avoid clutter.
- Speaking of clutter, organizing your space will make future cleaning incredibly easy. Try investing in small shelves, convert milk crates into storage units, or grab a trash can for your cab. Make space for a small vacuum too.
- You will want to clean your mats and floor as well. Regularly empty your floor mats of dust and crumbs and when you are wiping down the interior make sure to get under the mats. The better quality mats you get, the longer they will last.
- In terms of exterior cleaning, invest in some polish and wax. Protect your paint, chrome, and aluminum with a fine coat after cleaning. Your truck is expensive and the better you treat it, the better it will treat you.
We hope this helps with your Spring Cleaning endeavors. We here at Global CDL Truck Driving School are always here to help, so if you need anything feel free to contact us directly.
